Regional Spatial Strategies

We have been working with the North West Regional Assembly to consult at different stages of their Regional Spatial Strategy. Following online consultation around a scoping document, we then ran an 'Issues and Options' consultation dealing with detailed options for the strategy and finally a consultation on the draft Strategy document.

Over 1000 individuals and organisations have registered to participate and many hundreds have commented at different stages. We set up and maintained the database of stakeholders so they can be notified at each stage.

As with the majority of our consultations we have provided a paper-based route for those who request it and telephone support line.
